چکیده

The detection and identification of Resident Space Objects (RSOs) from survey tracks requires robust efficient orbit determination methods for the association observations same RSO. Both Initial Orbit Determination (IOD) (OD) perform orbital estimation in which relies. choice proper IOD OD is essential whole data association, since they are charge providing required to evaluate figure merit association. In this paper, we review state art propose a novel method that does not require initialisation, accounts measurement noise provides full (i.e., vector covariance) an arbitrary number optical observations. To do so, boundary value problem formulated find pair ranges leading minimum residuals proposed compared against classical alternatives simulated scenarios representative current space debris environment.
